Appena si arriva a piazza San Pietro, la prima cosa che stupisce e impressiona il visitatore è la grandezza della piazza, antistante la basilica di San Pietro, circondata dallo splendido colonnato a quattro file disegnato da Gian Lorenzo Bernini.
